Mayor warns of ‘dramatic changes’ in January; council members call on him to meet fee increase limit

Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown Tuesday detailed planned layoffs and service cuts in 2021 because of the dispute with city council on passing a budget balanced with revenues from higher sewer maintenance and recycling fees.
