Keeping mature motorists safe

Older drivers among most experienced, careful, but PennDOT programs highlight ways to minimize risks

Traffic waits for the light at South Main and Blackman streets in Wilkes-Barre on Saturday afternoon. With more drivers on the road overall and the number of mature drivers increasing, PennDOT’s safety coordinators are looking to spread the word about ways to keep older motorists safe.
