WILKES-BARRE &#8212; The Area Agency on Aging for Luzerne and Wyoming Counties announces the theme for this year&#8217;s Older American&#8217;s Month is &#8220;Get into the Act.&#8221;This year&#8217;s 48th annual dinner dance will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 7 at Genetti&#8217;s Best Western, Market Street, Wilkes-Barre with doors opening at 11:30 a.m.&#8220;An Affair to Remember&#8221; is the theme for this year&#8217;s dance; the entertainment set for this gala event will be King Henry and the Showmen. Dinner selections are prime rib au jus, chicken cordon bleu or sole with stuffed crab imperial, accompanied by salad, potato, vegetable, coffee, tea and dessert. A cash bar will also be available.Door prizes will be drawn and a grand prize. Ticket prices for individuals are $21 over the age of 60 and $23 for ages under 60. Tickets may be obtained at any of the 17 senior centers or by calling Rhonda Adams at 822-1158 Ext. 3337.
