WEST PITTSTON &mdash; A man wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with robbing a convenient store in November was captured late Thursday.
				Cody Allen Amos, 22, of Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston, was arrested by U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force at about 8 p.m. on Market Street in Kingston.
				Police in West Pittston allege Amos, who was armed with a knife, robbed the Friendly Food Mart on Wyoming Avenue on Nov. 11.
				Court records say the robbery was recorded on surveillance cameras.
				According to the criminal complaint:
				Police said Amos and another man entered the store at 3:50 p.m. on Nov. 11. When Amos entered the store, he looked directly at a surveillance camera. A store employee recognized Amos as being a frequent customer.
				When Amos entered the store, he was wearing a gray Nike zip up sweater, a blue hat and tan jeans.
				About 90 minutes later, Amos was recorded entering the store and approached the counter where he brandished a knife toward a clerk while demanding money. During the robbery, Amos placed the knife under his arm and answered a phone call on his cell phone, the complaint says.
				Police allege Amos wore the same clothing during the robbery as he did when he entered the food mart earlier.
				An arrest warrant was issued for Amos on Nov. 18 when he failed to appear for a scheduled meeting with police.
				It is not the first time Amos has been arrested on a robbery charge.
				Court records say Wyoming police charged Amos and others with robbing a man in the area of 290 Wyoming Ave. on July 9, 2018.
				Amos pleaded guilty to robbery and criminal conspiracy to commit robbery, and was sentenced Aug. 20, 2019, by Luzerne County Judge David W. Lupas to nine months to two years at the county correctional facility, court records say.
				Amos was arraigned by District Judge Joseph Halesey in Hanover Township on two counts each of robbery and terroristic threats, and one count each of simple assault, theft, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He was jailed at the county correctional facility for lack of $150,000 bail.
