For the third time during the novel coronavirus pandemic, Ocean State Job Lot donated Personal Protective Equipment to Wilkes-Barre.
				In its latest donation Friday the store on Kidder Street gave the Wilkes-Barre City Fire and Police departments $12,000 worth of KN95 masks, face shields, cases of hand wipes and anti-bacterial wipes and bottles of hand sanitizer.
				&ldquo;We like to be able to give back and this is one way Ocean State can give back. So I have two carts of PPE supplies that are worth $6,000 each that we are going to donate today,&rdquo; said Mia McLean, the Wilkes-Barre store team leader.
				Wilkes-Barre Mayor George Brown accepted the store&rsquo;s generous donation. &ldquo;You&rsquo;ve been a wonderful partner to the city of Wilkes-Barre since you opened up your doors,&rdquo; Brown said.
				Police Chief Joseph Coffay and Fire Chief Jay Delaney also thanked the store. &ldquo;PPE is the lifeline of firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and our first responders. Without this we can&rsquo;t respond,&rdquo; Delaney said.
