Two wanted by authorities captured by Plains Township police

WILKES-BARRE &mdash; Two men were arrested and another escaped during a pursuit with police following an armed home invasion where shots were fired on Tuesday.
				Police responded to a burglary in the 100 block of George Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. and passed the get-away vehicle, a white BMW, occupied by three men.
				After a several mile pursuit with speeds topping 125 mph through Wilkes-Barre, Wilkes-Barre Township and driving against on-coming traffic on Interstate-81, police arrested Mohammed Fadil Thiero, 28, of Brooklyn, NYC, and Hassan Ian Jones, 22, of West Chestnut Street, Wilkes-Barre.
				Police allege Thiero was the driver of the BMW.
				According to the criminal complaints:
				The victim told police he was at a laundromat and arrived home going upstairs with his dog. A minute later, he went downstairs and encountered three men in his kitchen all wearing hooded sweatshirts and face masks.
				Police said the victim reported he was attacked and struck in the head with a handgun. During the assault, a shoulder bag was taken from the victim, police said.
				Police said the three suspects fled out a rear door and behind a garage where they got into a white BMW.
				As the vehicle drove away, one of the suspects discharged a round at the victim who was chasing them, the complaint says.
				A neighbor told police she heard a scuffle and the victim call out for help before looking out a window and witnessing the gunfire.
				As officers responded to the burglary and assault, they passed the white BMW, the complaint says.
				Police pursued the vehicle from Scott Street where Thiero turned into on-coming traffic to pass stopped vehicles at Pine and Spring streets.
				Police said Thiero turned into North Sherman Street and Coal Street before turning around and turned again onto North Sherman Street.
				The pursuit continued in the Heights section of the city on Amber Lane, Dougher Lane, Walters Way, North Meade Street, Hillside Street, and East Northampton Street.
				As the BMW approached the overpass to Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard, police said Thiero turned onto the on-ramp and drove in the middle turning lane of the boulevard toward Casey Avenue and Blackman Street.
				Police said Thiero turned north in the southbound lanes of Interstate-81 against on-coming traffic.
				Motorists on the interstate had to take evasive action to avoid head-on collisions, police said.
				Thiero turned onto a crossover to enter the northbound lanes and traveled on the right shoulder passing motorists at speeds more than 125 mph, the complaint says.
				Police in the complaint say Thiero exited the interstate at Highland Park Boulevard, and turned onto Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard, driving through the parking area of the Sunoco service station before going onto Coal Street.
				Thiero continued on several streets in the Heights before abruptly stopping at East Northampton and Sylvanus streets.
				Thiero, Jones and a third suspect abandoned the vehicle on foot before they were arrested during a chase. A third suspect managed to elude arrest.
				Thiero and Jones were arraigned Wednesday by District Judge Joseph Spagnuolo in Luzerne County Central Court. Spagnuolo jailed the two men deeming them dangers to society.
				Thiero was charged with three counts of robbery, two counts of aggravated assault and simple assault, and one count each of burglary, theft, criminal trespass, fleeing or eluding police, reckless endangerment and multiple traffic violations.
				Jones was charged with three counts of robbery, two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault, and one count each of burglary, theft, criminal trespass, reckless endangerment and fleeing or eluding police.
