Ann Marie Gorniak &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Oct. 16, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ann Marie (Krafchak) Gorniak, of Spring Street, Old Forge, died Friday
night at homeBorn in Austin Heights, Old Forge, she was the daughter of the
late Stanley and Regina Drawl Potempa. She was educated in Old Forge schools.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Old Forge. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by husbands, John Krafchak, in 1955; Joseph
Gorniak, in 1989; stepson, Richard Gorniak; sisters, Miss Helen Potempa and
Mrs. Victoria Brzostowski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Rev. John S. Krafchak, pastor of St. Mary's of
Czestochowa Church, Nanticoke; daughters, Mrs. Joan Mat, Old Forge; Mrs.
Dorothy Cichon, Newton, N.J.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Marcella Mlodzienski, Moosic;
six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; sister,
Mrs. Sophie Carocci, Scranton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from the Bernard J. Piontek
Funeral Home, 204 Main St., Duryea, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St.
Stanislaus Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Monday by members of St. Mary's Church,
its Holy Name Society, Ushers Club and the Catholic Woman's Council. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St.
Stanislaus Church, Old Forge.
