Lester Coleman &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nov. 19, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Lester E. Coleman, 85, formerly of Wilkes-Barre and Vestal, N.Y., died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Thursday at Mountain Rest Nursing Home, Scranton, where he was a guest
since &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 1989Born in Clyde, N.Y., June 28, 1907, he was the son of the late Henry
and Alice Devinney Coleman. He was a member of St. Therese Church,
Wilkes-Barre. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal, N.Y., for
25 years, where he was a member and past-president of the Holy Name Society
and president of the Ushers Society. He was a member of the United Commercial
Travelers for 46 years, and was past senior counselor. He was also a member of
Knights of Columbus Council 302 and B.P.O.E. Lodge 109. He was a retired
employee of IBM, retiring after 32 years of service. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Louise Bustin, in 1978;
second wife, the former Mary Schoonover Carr, in 1987. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Sue Ellen Coleman, Tunkhannock, with whom he
previously resided; two grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Marie VanBussum, Newark,
N.Y.; Mrs. Dorothy Engels, Bradenton, Fla.; brother, Karl, Syracuse, N.Y.;
several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday from the Matthew T. Jacobs
Funeral Home, 47 Old River Rd., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial
at 10 a.m. St. Therese Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 8 a.m. until time of services Tuesday.
