WEST HAZLETON -- Santa Claus drives a tow truck in this town. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Joseph B. Kress, owner of Bull's Towing, Harry's U Pull It and Kress Auto
Wreckers, planned to give away $4,000 to $5,000 worth of toys Saturday at
Matteo's Rib House on Susquehanna Boulevard. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This is the second year Kress has dug deep into his wallet to play Santa
Claus to the children of greater Hazleton with toy trucks, fire engines and
other gifts kids dream about on Christmas Eve. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Why does he do it? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Well, Kress was difficult to track down because he was busy preparing for
Saturday's "toy giveaway," so an employee and part-time elf spoke for him. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "His nickname is `Bighearted Buddy,' " said John Guadi, Bull's Towing
manager. "He loves kids and he does this just because he's a nice guy." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The toy giveaway was open to all children. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "There's lots of kids out there anymore who are needy," Guadi said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Matteo's Rib House provided hot dogs and soda for the children and coffee
for their parents.
