Margaret Devers &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 12, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Margaret M. Devers, 81, formerly of Mallery Place, Wilkes-Barre, died
Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Patricia Gallagher Dombzalski,
Fayetteville, &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 GaBorn in Wilkes-Barre on Jan. 10, 1911, she was a daughter of the late
Patrick J. and Mary Barrett Joyce. She was a graduate of Coughlin High School
and the Wyoming Seminary School for Business. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed as a receptionist at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, for
many years, and was also a house-mother for Wilkes University. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was active in the Democratic party, and was one of the organizers of
the Young Democrats in 1940. She served as a Democratic committee-woman of the
10th district, first ward, for 20 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Therese's Church, Wilkes-Barre, its senior citizens
club and the Women's Democratic Club, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She resided in Georgia for the past three years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, John, a chief deputy for the
Internal Revenue Service, in 1982. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In addition to Mrs. Dombzalski, surviving are daughters, Joyce ichter and
Jacqueline Cross, both of Douglasville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; seven
great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Joyce, Wilkes-Barre; brother, Robert,
Kingston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Graham-McCune Funeral
Home, 324 S. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at
9:30 a.m. in St. Therese's Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
