Margaret Payne &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 10, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Margaret E. Payne, 85, of Franklin Street, Plymouth, died Thursday morning
at homeBorn in Indiana County, Sept. 27, 1907, she was the daughter of the
late Frederick and Julia Ann Wega Arndt. She moved to Plymouth shortly after
her marriage in 1924, and resided there until 1972. She then resided with
family in Easton, returning in 1988. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed at Lyndwood Fashions, Hanover Township; and was also a
union representative for the ILGWU, retiring in 1969. She was a former member
of the First United Methodist Church, Plymouth, and its the Willing Workers
Class. She was also a member of the Easton Nazarene Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Reginald; daughter, LaBerta
Hettinger; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers and
sisters, Jean Beam, Fred, Joseph, William, John, Bertha and Frederick Arndt,
Dorothy Peters, Raymond, Mary, Margaret and Annie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Harold (Florence) Thompson, Darlington, S.C.;
Mrs. Omer (Gloria) Eidson, Coatesville; Mrs. Joseph (Louise) Spiers, Brooklyn,
N.Y.; son, Elmer R., Red Lion; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren;
two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence, Allison Park; George,
Plymouth. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday from the Williams Funeral Home,
114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Richard A. Clark officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today; and from 11 a.m. until time of
services.
