 Anthony Gorka, 69, of Harveys Lake, died Saturday morning in Nesbitt
Memorial &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hospital, KingstonBorn in Nanticoke, Dec. 1, 1923, he was the son of the
late Anthony and Mary Ondish Gorka Sr. Prior to retiring, he was employed by
International Harvester Co., and Automobile City, Wilkes-Barre, as a body shop
repairman. He was previously employed at the Harry E. Colliery, Swoyersville.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of American
Legion Post 796, Sugar Notch; and the Disabled American Veterans. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by a sister, Isabelle Blizzard. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Weidner; sisters, Marie Burritt,
Florancor, Ore.; Martha Wiley, Willow Springs, Ill.; Agnes Walko, Luzerne;
Madeline Pucci, Willow Springs, Ill.; Mildred Ostroskie, New Milford, N.J.;
Janet Moleski, Luzerne; Geraldine Cagigas, Swoyersville; several nieces and
nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the
Frederick and Snowdon Funeral Home, 1188 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the
Rev. J.C. Klick, of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
