 Dec. 2, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Carmel A. Denoy, 83, of Italy Street, Mocanaqua, died Wednesday at Mercy &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Mocanaqua, May 1, 1909, she was the daughter
of the late Michael and Concetta Antonacci. She was employed as a seamstress
by the Kerstetter Silk Mill, Mocanaqua, as a young lady. She was a member of
St. Mary's Church, Mocanaqua. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Sr., in 1957; brothers,
Daniel, Dominick and Anthony. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sons, Michael, Nanticoke; Patrick Jr., with whom she resided;
daughters, Mrs. Ramon (Lucille) Salsburg, Hunlock Creek; Mrs. Jake (Gloria)
Handzelek, Mocanaqua; brother, Charles, Mocanaqua; sisters, Mary Herman,
Nanticoke; Angeline Jenkins, Wilkes-Barre; Rose Zapora, Baltimore, Md.; five
grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Mayo Funeral Home
Inc., Shickshinny, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's
Church, with the Rev. Carl Prushinski, her pastor, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
