Bessie Zendzion &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 23, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bessie Zendzion, of Saint John Street, Plains Township, died Wednesday at
the home of her son, David, in Plains TownshipBorn in Wilkes-Barre Township,
she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mamie Searfoss. She resided in
Plains Township for the last 12 years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She attended Wilkes-Barre Township schools and had been employed at
Prestige Shoe for many years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Plains Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In addition to her son, David, surviving are her husband, Stanley; son,
Stanley Jr., Plains Township; daughters, Mrs. Cathy Olson and Mrs. Judith
Jordan, both of Wilkes-Barre; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;
brothers, William, Oxford, N.Y.; Arthur and Andrew, both of Bear Creek;
Richard, Candor, N.Y.; sisters, Mrs. Mamie Chopack, Harrison Township, Mich.;
Mrs. Jane Waskiewicz, White Haven; Mrs. Elizabeth Kolis, Oxford, N.Y.; Joan
Searfoss, Bear Creek; several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Jendrzejewski Funeral
Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30
a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Plains Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Plains Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
