John Roskoski &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 24, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; John Roskoski, of Shady Rill Road, Shavertown, died Thursday at homeBorn in
Nanticoke, he was a son of the late Charles and Monica Ludorf Roskoski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea. He served for 22
years and retired as a first lieutenant. He was a recipient of the Purple
Heart, Bronze Star, European, American Defense and the European-African-Middle
East medals. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of the Jackson United Methodist Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by a son, Carl; daughter, Ursula. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Maria Fischer; daughters, Mrs. Karen
Thomas and Mrs. Erica Keiper, both of Mountaintop; Mrs. Shirley Jingo,
Shavertown; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Mrs. Helen
Harrison, Nanticoke; brother, Richard Wydosky, Wanamie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Earl W. Lohman
Funeral Home, 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Edgehill Cemetery, Plymouth Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service Saturday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial contributions may be made to the Jackson Methodist Church.
