Donald Steele &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 23, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Donald L. Steele, of West Hartford Street, Ashley, died Wednesday morning
at &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Thomas Jefferson Hospital, PhiladelphiaBorn in Ashley, he was the son of
the late Willard and Mae Gilroy Steele. He resided in Ashley all of his life. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was employed by the Herman Funke and Sons Embroidary Co., as a machine
operator, for over 30 years, retiring three years ago. He was a member of the
Wyoming Valley Radio Controlled Flyers. He was a co-worker of the World Wide
Church of God, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He and his wife, the former Arlene Drozda, celebrated their 30th wedding
anniversary in September 1992. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Marla, Canandaigua,
N.Y.; Mrs. Michael (Rhonda) Scott, Wilkes-Barre; son, Michael, at home;
sister, Mrs. John (Shirley) Bumeder, Chalfont; several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the
George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday.
