 John Lukasavage &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dec. 20, 1992 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 John F. Lukasavage, 65, of Center Street, Wanamie, died Sunday in the
Veterans &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Administration Medical Center, East Orange, N.J., where he had been a
patient for four weeksBorn in Hanover Township, he was a son of the late
Victor A. and Julia Lukasavage. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He attended Hanover area schools and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War
II. Prior to his retirement in 1965, he was employed by the Blue Coal Corp. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, the former Grace Sacks,
who died on Jan. 6, 1987. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sons, John Jr., Wanamie; Leonard, Glen Lyon; daughters, Mrs.
Michael (Joanne) Pecukonis, Glen Lyon; Mrs. Thomas (Deborah) Shields, Hanover
Township; Dorothy Lukasavage; brothers, Martin and Walter, both of Charleston,
S.C.; sister, Mrs. Theresa Homa, Hanover Township; 11 grandchildren; several
nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Stanley S. Stegura
Funeral Home, 614 Hanover St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Loren Swartz, of the
Bethesda Congregational Church, Kingston, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wanamie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
