Louise Searfoss &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 5, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Louise Searfoss, 88, of West Maple Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Plymouth, she was the daughter of
the late Grant and Sarah Howells Fotheringill. She attended Wilkes-Barre city
schools and was a lifelong resident of North Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She had been employed by the Penn Tobacco Cigar Co., the J.B. Carr Biscuit
Co., both of Wilkes-Barre, and in the Hospitality Shoppe of Wilkes-Barre
General Hospital. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre, and was
active in the Calvary Guild and St. Margaret's Society of the Calvary
Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Searfoss, in 1982; son,
Donald J. Cups, cq in 1992; brothers, Taylor, Mason and Richard Fotheringill. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mary Alice Cups, Wilkes-Barre; six
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday from the H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home,
451 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Alexander Seabrook,
priest-in-charge, Holy Cross Episcopal Church, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from noon Friday until time of services. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Episcopal Church, 373 N. Main
St., Wilkes-Barre 18702.
