JUVENILES CHARGED IN LUZERNE VANDALISM 





Larksville man, two juveniles charged in Luzerne vandalism spree &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A 19-year-old Larksville man and two juveniles have been charged with
felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor offenses in connection with the
vandalism of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 16 Luzerne homes, businesses and vehicles in mid-December, police
saidPolice said the three suspects used high-powered slingshots and marbles to
break glass doors, windows and windshields and to damage house siding. Damage
in the vandalism spree is estimated at $8,792, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Daniel Joseph Reese of Fifth Street, Larksville, was arraigned Tuesday by
District Justice Andrew Barilla of Swoyersville on charges of criminal
mischief, disorderly conduct and corrupting the morals of minors. He was
released on a $10,000 recognizance bail. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The two juveniles, ages 12 and 14, were charged in juvenile court with
criminal mischief and disorderly conduct and harassment. A juvenile court
hearing will be scheduled later. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Most of the damage was reported by John Connolly &amp; Sons on Union Street,
where the windows of two backhoes and numerous trucks were broken. Total
damage at the Connolly property is estimated at $5,712.60, police said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Other property owners reported the following damage, police said. (All
addresses are in Luzerne unless noted). &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 The arrests were made by borough juvenile officer Robert Lehman Jr. Police
