 Ball to head borough council &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Norm Ball was chosen president of the Tunkhannock Borough Council at the
annual reorganization meeting recentlyBill Gaylord was named vice president,
and Ruby Sands was selected assistant secretary/treasurer. Other council
members are Jan Meyers, Bill Ball, Bette Gardner, Bob Cavany and Todd Keller. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Ball said six of the eight council members are new. Only Jan Meyers and
Bill Ball served on the council last year, he said. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jean Johnson was reappointed secretary/treasurer. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Committee appointments are: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Adminstration: Ruby Sands, chairwoman; Bill Gaylord and Norm Ball. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Finance: Bill Gaylord, chairman; Jan Meyers and Ruby Sands. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Municipal/Solid Waste: Todd Keller, chairman; Jan Meyers and Bob Cavany. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Planning and zoning: Jan Meyers, chairwoman; Norm Ball and Bette Gardner. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Police: Bill Ball, chairman; Bette Gardner and Bob Cavany. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
