Bertelle Campbell &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 14, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Bertelle ``Bert'' E. Campbell, 81, of RR 3, Hunlock Creek, Pikes Creek,
died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friday at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, KingstonBorn in Mooretown, Aug. 3,
1912, she was the daughter of the late Leroy R. and Blanche E. Steele Piatt.
She resided in Newton for 50 years, moving to Pikes Creek in July 1993. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed as a seamstress in Clarks Summit for 22 years, retiring 19
years ago. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Carverton United Methodist Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She and her husband, Claude L., celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary
on June 25, 1993. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by brothers, Donald and Willard. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a brother, Howard L. Sr., Pikes
Creek; sister, Sarah Edwards, Wesley Village, Jenkins Township; several nieces
and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the
Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with
the Rev. William G. McCall Jr., pastor, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the Carverton United Methodist Church,
1633 W. Eighth St., Wyoming, 18644.
