Harold Skordensky &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 18, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Harold H. Skordensky, 73, of Laurel Run Road, Laurel Run, died Tuesday in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains TownshipBorn in
Wilkes-Barre on April 30, 1920, he was a son of the late Harry and Mary Morgus
Skordensky. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was employed for many years in the local coal mines. He was later
employed by the Foster Wheeler Corp. and by Solomon Industries, retiring in
1969. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of the Resurrection of the Lord Polish National Catholic
Church, Zerby Avenue, Edwardsville. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was also a member of the Wilkes-Barre Township American Legion Post No.
815. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He and his wife, the former Margaret Barnes, celebrated their 52nd Wedding
Anniversary on Feb. 1, 1993. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Mrs. Rose Drevenik, Laurel
Run; Mrs. Shirley Martin, Plains Township; Mrs. Marsha Koczynski, Plains
Township; Mrs. Paulette Yenchik, Bear Creek Township; nine grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph, Plymouth; sister, Mrs. Florence
Dougherty, N.J.; several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday from the Nat &amp; Gawlas Funeral
Home, Park Avenue and South Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian
Burial at 11 a.m. in Resurrection of the Lord Polish National Catholic Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Lehman. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Czeslaw
Kuliczkowski officiating.
