Elizabeth Rice &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 19, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Elizabeth Rice, of Meadows Apartments, Dallas, died Wednesday afternoon in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Wanamie, she was the daughter of the
late Anthony and Frances Petcoski Rice of Wanamie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a 1929 graduate of Newport Township High School, and a 1932
graduate of the Post-graduate Hospital of New York University, school of
nursing, in New York City. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a registered nurse doing private duty in New York University
Hospital until retiring. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She resided most of her life in the New York City area and the past 10
years in the Dallas area. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Wanamie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the American Nursing Association and the New York and
Pennsylvania Nursing Associations. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Rice, in 1964. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sisters Mrs. Effie Stralka, Glen Lyon, and Mrs. Norbert
(Leona) Molski, of Dallas; several nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces
and grandnephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday at St. Mary's,
Wanamie. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Glen Lyon.
