 He said a new date for the event will be announced. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Trash collectors ask help &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 City residents are asked to place their garbage on top of snow piles if
their normal pickup area is not clear. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 This request was made to make collection of refuse as noticeable and
accessible as possible. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Meter readings scheduled &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 General Waterworks of Pennsylvania announced first quarter water meter
readings will begin as follows: Monday, for customers residing in Dallas; Feb.
23, for customers in Shavertown; March 9, for customers in Noxen; and March
10, for customers in Harveys Lake. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Customers are asked to refrain from covering outside remote read devices
for their water meter when clearing sidewalks and driveways of snow. They are
also asked to make the remote reader accessible for the meter reader in order
to avoid receiving an estimated billing. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 Borough postpones recycling &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Recycling in the borough has been postponed until Jan. 28 because of the
weather. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
