Catherine Vandermark &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 21, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Catherine D. Vandermark, 61, of RR 3, Wapwallopen, died Friday morning at &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Wilkes-Barre, July 29, 1932, she was
the daughter of the late Theodore and Dolores Shaffer Gretz. She had resided
in Slocum Township for the past year. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She had been employed as a machine operator by the Wyoming Valley Garment
Company for many years. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1987. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Jeffrey (Mae) Engler, Slocum Township;
son, Frank Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren; sister, Anna
Gebhart, Mountaintop. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Graham-McCune Funeral
Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountaintop, with the Rev. Virginia Biniek,
pastor, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
