 University sets workshop on student financial aid &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The University of Scranton will host a financial aid workshop for high
school students and their parents at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Eagen Auditorium
of the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Gunster Student Center on campusThe workshop will be led by William Burke,
director of financial aid at the University of Scranton. It will feature a
line-by-line review of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and a
review of the university's application for scholarships and financial aid. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The program will include information about the university's academic
scholarship and need-based assistance programs, information on federal and
state student aid programs, loans, and alternative financing options. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Participants will be shown how to calculate the cost of attendance at the
university and should bring 1993 federal tax return information, including
wage statements for students and parents. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Rev. Bernard McIlhenny, S.J., dean of admissions at the university,
will also be available to answer questions. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
