 Judge Lokuta demanded the files on the probe into the electrician's

 WILKES-BARRE -- Clear out a portion of a drawer in a filing cabinet, the
"voluminous" murder investigation files have arrived -- in a single briefcase. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In compliance with a court order issued by Luzerne County Judge Ann H.
Lokuta, state police on Wednesday delivered their files that cover the probe
into the poisoning death of Robert A. Curley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The files, previously described by various law enforcement officials as
"voluminous," were carried into Lokuta's chambers shortly before 11 a.m. by
state police Lt. Joseph Marut, a small attache case dangling from his hand. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 No boxes on hand carts followed him -- no filing cabinets, no parade of
troopers hefting crates. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 "Yes, I did. I delivered them," Marut said as reporters followed him down a
flight of stairs before he disappeared through rear doors of the courthouse. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lokuta had issued an order 11 days ago demanding that the files be in her
chamber by 11 a.m. Wednesday. Curley's widow, Joann Curley, had requested that
the files be examined by the court. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Joann Curley is suing Wilkes University, claiming college officials didn't
keep track of various toxic chemicals that were present in the chemistry lab
where her husband, an electrician, had been doing construction work. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 University officials deny the charge. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Curley died in September 1991, after ingesting the chemical thallium, a
substance that used to be present in rat poison. Since then, police have been
investigating his death, questioning family members and co-workers whom they
suspect could have slipped Curley some of the toxin during a period of time. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 No arrests have been made in the case, and state police and District
Attorney Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. have been reluctant to discuss the case,
citing the ongoing investigation. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 State police and the district attorney protested when Joann Curley
requested the files, but later relented when Lokuta said she would look at
them privately in her chambers without entering them into the public record. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lokuta wouldn't comment about the case Wednesday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
