Beatrice White &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 25, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Beatrice M. White, 88, of the Birchwood Nursing Center, Nanticoke, died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Tuesday in Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Wilkes-Barre, April 1, 1905,
she was the daughter of the late James and Harriet Chapel Betts. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a former employee of the Woolworth and SS. Kresge companies. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the Firwood United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Sr.; sons, James B. Jr.
and William F. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, Robert L., Wilkes-Barre; seven grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday from the Frederick and Snowdon
Funeral Home, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. Bette J. Poe, pastor
of the Firwood United Methodist Church, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 10 a.m. Friday until servicetime. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the
Firwood United Methodist Church, 399 Old River Road, Wilkes-Barre, 18702.
