Edward Flaherty &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 26, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Edward T. Flaherty, of Moyallen Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Wednesday
morning at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-BarreBorn
in Parsons, Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Martin and Anna Judge
Flaherty. He was a 1936 graduate of Coughlin High School. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was formerly employed as a machinist at the TRW Co., Mentor, Ohio,
retiring in 1980. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by brothers, Michael, John, Francis, James and
William; sisters, Helen, Mame, Anna and Margaret. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a brother, Joseph, Mentor, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday from the Jendrzejewski Funeral
Home, 21 N. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m.
in St. Mary's Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Pringle. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
