Help Victims Of The Recent California Earthquake.

Helen Pace &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 25, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Helen Pace, of Coal Street, Pittston Township, died Tuesday night at
Highland &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Manor Nursing Home, ExeterBorn in Eckley, she was the daughter of the late
Andrew and Barbara Portik Sabol. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She had been employed in the garment industry for several years in the
greater Pittston Area, prior to her retirement. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Montedoro Society, Pittston. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She and her husband, James F., celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on
Sept. 24, 1993. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by brothers, John and Andrew; sisters, Barbara
Sabol, Mary Mihock and Elizabeth Bruno. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Joseph, Plymouth;
daughter, Barbara Geurin, Dallas; sister, Anna Sabol, Kingston; three
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday from the John V. Morris
Funeral Home, 625 N. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m.
in St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Visoky, pastor,
officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
