Mary Sweeney &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 26, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mary White Sweeney, 82, of Dushore, died Wednesday at the Laporte United &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Methodist Home, LaporteBorn March 9, 1911, in Dushore, she was the daughter
of the late Charles and Margaret Gaughan White. She attended school in
Dushore. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She worked for most of her life at the former Weldon Manufacturing Co.,
Lopez; and Sullcraft Manufacturing Co., Dushore. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, Dushore, and its
Altar and Rosary Society. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a social member of Loyalsock Post 996, American Legion, Dushore. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, April 28, 1980; brothers,
James, John and Francis; sisters, Agnes Farrell and Kathryn White. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Kathryn "Billie") Farrell, Dushore;
sister, Anna Fulmer, Dushore; grandchildren, John and Julie Farrell; three
great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from the P. Dean Homer
Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10
a.m. in St. Basil's Church, with the Very Rev. Patrick J. McLaughlin, VF,
pastor, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Friday by St. Basil's Altar and Rosary
Society. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Scripture services will be at 8 p.m. Friday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the Dushore Fire Company Ambulance
Association, P.O. Box F, Dushore, 18614.
