 Jan. 29, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Lavina M. Fisher, of Hoyt Street, Kingston, died Saturday morning at
Geisinger &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains TownshipBorn in Luzerne, she was the
daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Kern Polisky. Prior to moving to
Kingston in 1972, she resided in Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a nurse at Retreat State Hospital, retiring in 1972. She was a
member of Sacred Heart Church, Luzerne. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her brother, John, Brookhaven; sisters, Stella Bandish,
Kingston; Helena Noone, Pittston; Kathryn Peterson, Toledo, Ohio; several
nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family from the Kearney
Funeral Home Inc., 22 Prospect St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial
at Sacred Heart Church, Luzerne. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 There will be no calling hours.
