 Business center sets workshop &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center will host a
workshop for potential business owners entitled ``The Nuts and Bolts of &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Building a Business.'' &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The three-hour workshop will be held Thursday in Stroudsburg and March 12
in &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 ScrantonThe Stroudsburg session will be from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the
Sheraton Inn on West Main Street. The Scranton session will be from 9 a.m. to
noon in Room 589 of St. Thomas Hall at the university. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The workshop fee is $20. Call the center at 1-800-829-7232 cq or 941-7588
cq for registration information. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The workshop will address issues such as sales tax and use licenses, record
keeping, fictitious name registration, employers identification numbers and
cost determinations. Participants will also learn about resources for business
owners. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The program will be presented by center consultants whose speciality is
helping people start new businesses. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The program is sponsored by the center, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
and the Monroe County and Scranton Service Corps of Retired Executives
chapters.
