George Schuetz &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 29, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; George Joseph Schuetz, 68, of Hope Valley, R.I., died Saturday at his home
on &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Palmer CircleBorn in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late George M. and
Josephine Messmer Schuetz. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in
Kensington, Conn. for 35 years before his retirement in 1982. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He then worked part-time as a sexton at St. Joseph's Church, Hope Valley
and at the Christmas House in Exeter, R.I. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Sophie Meko; son, George J. Jr., West
Warwick, R.I.; brother, Wendel Schuetz, Wilkes-Barre; three grandsons. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church with the
Rev. Michael Leckie officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, R.I. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home,
Hope Valley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Washington County, 118
Point Judith Road, Narragansett, R.I., 02882.
