Leonard Falcon &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Feb. 1, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Leonard L. Falcon, 85, of Academy Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday at &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains TownshipSon of the late
Nicholas and Jenny Falcon, he was a 1926 graduate of Coughlin High School. He
attended East Stroudsburg University, and received a bachelor of arts degree
from Scranton University, and a master's degree from the New York University. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a veteran of World War II. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a teacher in Wilkes-Barre schools from 1931 to 1945, and served as a
principal in Hazle Street School, North Street School, Weaver School and
Palmer School, all of Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He served as president of the Pennsylvania Retired Teachers Association. He
also was a member of the American Legion and the AARP. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of the Holy Rosary and Holy Name Church, Wilkes-Barre, and
its Holy Name Society and St. Theresa's Senior Citizens. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace DeFrancisco, Mary Falcon and
Elizabeth Stanziale. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sister, Antoinette (Nellie) Rinkin, Wilkes-Barre; niece,
Theresa Farias, Rhode Island; nephew, Charles DeFrancesco, Wilkes-Barre; six
great-nieces; one great-nephew; two great-great-nieces. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday from the Recupero Funeral Home,
141 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary
Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
