Charles Barber &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Feb. 7, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Charles B. Barber Sr., of West Shawnee Avenue, Plymouth, died Monday at his
homeBorn in Plymouth, May 1, 1914, he was the son of the late William and
Elizabeth Boyce Barber. He attended Plymouth schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He served in the Army during World War II. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was employed in local anthracite mines and later worked for Plymouth
Borough. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Clement-St. Peter Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Stella Walker; sister,
Ida. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are sons, Charles B. Jr., Aurora, Colo.; Norman, Long Lake,
Wisc.; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and Ann Oshirak, with whom he
resided. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral will be 8 p.m. Thursday from the Williams Funeral Home, 114 W. Main
St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Joseph Maloney Jr. officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 6 p.m. Thursday until time of services.
