What's wrong with the school? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 O'Brien-Kreitzberg and Associates are expected to announce at the next
school district meeting who is responsible for the problems listed below. The
following items are just some of the deficiencies at Hazleton Area High &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; School: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Roof damage on the northwest corner of the classroom section of the
building, the northwest corner of the auditorium, at the expansion joint above
the library and above the gym. There are also leaks across classroom sections,
the athletic area and auditorium areas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Tile floors are lifting in the boys and girls gym locker rooms and
restrooms and in the northeast section of the building. The pool balcony is
lifting in the floor. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Corrosion of the pool filter room and pool area. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Gym bleachers keep getting stuck. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Water leaking through vents in classrooms 217 and 219, 220 and 221, the
home economics room, child development room and sewing room. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hot water is not hot enough in the boys team room and pool water room.
Also, water supplied to the pool area is inadequate. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The wood shop spray booth is missing a set of plugs/grids, explosion-proof
lights, electrical outlets, switches and heat. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Gas jets and water spigots in two science labs are loose and leaking. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The outside street lights are connected to ground floor maintenance room
outlets instead of being separate power lines. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Control modules for boilers are not working properly . &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Heating/cooling units not working in several offices. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Stage floor in auditorium buckled from roof leak. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Sound system in auditorium insufficient. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Water entering building under front entrance doors and doors by classroom
101. Water is also coming up through the concrete floor in the electrical
room. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Door handles not working throughout the school, including five entrance
doors to the building. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Many classrooms don't have shades. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Sound system and bells, not including the operable fire alarm, have to be
reset too many times. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Water drainage from the southwest corner of the school by the swimming pool
is inadequate and causing a road-safety problem.
