Ballet Northeast to host a group performance &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Wilkes University will host an invitational dance repertory performance at
the &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Feb.
12This presentation, at 8 p.m., will be open to the public free of charge. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Contributing pieces to the performance will be the Vineland Regional Dance
Company, the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, guest artists from the Point
Park College Dance Conservatory and Ballet Northeast. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 One of the highlights of the performance will be the return appearance
locally of April and Simon Ball, from Pittsburgh. The teenagers, who are
brother and sister, were recently honored as first prize winners at an
international dance competition in Budapest, Hungary. Collaborating once again
with Ballet Northeast, they will perform the principal roles in Ballet
Northeast's presentation of the second act of the romantic classic "Giselle." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 In the important supporting role of Myrtha, queen of the Wilis, will be
Ballet Northeast's Holly Yudisky. One of the four major works in the classical
romantic ballet repertory, "Giselle" will be staged by Ballet Northeast's
artistic and associate directors Peter and Kristin Degnan after the original
choreography of Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot, as set to Adolphe Adam's
haunting score. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funding for the program, which will include master classes for the
university's dance students, is being made by a grant-in-aid from the Harkness
Foundation. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
