Mildred Shalayda &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Feb. 11, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mildred Shalayda, formerly of Welles Street, Hanover section, Nanticoke,
died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friday at Birchwood Nursing Home, Nanticoke, where she was a guest for six
years. She was formerly a guest for 11 years at the Villa of Divine &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Providence, LansdaleBorn in Hanover section, Nanticoke, she was the
daughter of the late Harriton and Mary Rudowski Shalayda. She attended
Nanticoke schools. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, Hanover section,
Nanticoke. She was formerly employed by the Nanticoke Dress Factory, and
worked at the rectory of Transfiguration of Our Lord Church for Rev. Nicholas
Fisanick. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by brothers, Michael, Joseph and Russell. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are brothers, John and Stephen, both of Milltown, N.J.; Nicholas,
North Tonawanda, N.Y.; sister, Helen Kondratik, Milltown, N.J.; several nieces
and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Thomas E. Buczkowski
Funeral Home, 210 Pine St., Hanover section, Nanticoke, with Divine Liturgy at
9 a.m. in Transfiguration of Our Lord Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Parastas services will be 6 p.m. Monday with Rev. Dr. Nicholas Kostiuk
officiating.
