John Bishop &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Feb. 12, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; John C. Bishop, of RR 7, Tunkhannock (Lake Carey), died Saturday at the
Tyler &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial Hospital, TunkhannockBorn Oct. 6, 1928, in Noxen, he was the son
of the late Voyle and Florence Slater Bishop. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was self-employed as a contractor in the Tunkhannock area. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Laura Decker; daughters, Mary Springer,
Binghamton, N.Y.; Joann Dolittle and Jennifer Ryder, both of Greene, N.Y.;
Judy Bishop, Port Crane, N.Y.; sons, Dennis Bishop, Binghamton; Scott Decker,
Meshoppen; sisters, Amy Hipp, Harriett Conell and Reba Zilinski, all of
Florida; Vergie Foote, Binghamton; 28 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral
Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with the Rev. Charles Bishop, nephew of
the deceased, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be at a later date in Port Crane, N.Y. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from noon Tuesday until time of services.
