Mary Zailskas &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Jan. 4, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mary Theresa Zailskas, 75, of Waterbury, Conn., died Jan. 4 in St. Mary's &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Hospital, WaterburyBorn Jan. 19, 1918, in Kingston, she was the daughter of
the late John and Mary Brachulis Kupstas. She graduated from Plymouth High
School and attended business college. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed as an inspector for 35 years by Scovill Manufacturing Co.
and for 12 years by Uniroyal Inc. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Waterbury, and a member of its
Altar Society and home-school association and chairwoman of the talent show.
She was a Carmelite Third Order of Mount Carmel Church and was a member of the
Easter Seals Stroke Club. For many years, she was a volunteer in the St.
Joseph's School cafeteria. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Zailskas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are her son, Bernard P., Newtown, Conn.; daughter, Mrs. Mark
(Mary) Freyermuth, Franklin, Mass.; sisters, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Dubauskas,
Westland, Mich.; Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Miskinis, Dearborn Heights, Mich.;
brother, Peter Kupstas, Alexandria, Va.; one granddaughter. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The funeral was Jan. 9 from the Snyder Funeral Home, 114 Willow St.,
Waterbury, with funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Memorial donations may be sent to St. Joseph's Church or St. Joseph's
School, Waterbury, Conn.
