Mark Shission &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Feb. 14, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mark C. Shission, 19, of RR 1, Sweet Valley, died Monday in Ross
TownshipBorn in Kingston, Aug. 30, 1974, he was the son of Daniel A. and
Rosemary Gavlick Shission, with whom he resided. He was a 1992 graduate of
Lake-Lehman High School, where he participated in basketball, golf and track. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a sophomore nursing student at College Misericordia, Dallas. He was
a member of the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania, and the Commuter
Council of College Misericordia. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He ran in and completed the New York Marathon in November 1993, completed
the Philadelphia Half Marathon and ran in many local races. He was also a
weight lifter and an avid outdoorsman and hunter. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Daniel, Sweet Valley;
sister, Amanda, at home; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Margaret Gavlick,
Swoyersville; paternal grandparents, Charles and Theresa Shission,
Swoyersville; several aunts, uncles and cousins. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the Curtis L. Swanson
Funeral Home, corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with a Mass of
Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
