 Nov. 29, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mary Helen Dooner, formerly of Grove Street, Avoca, died Tuesday at Wesley &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Village, Jenkins Township, where she was a resident for the past four
yearsShe would have celebrated her 100th birthday on New Years Day. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Born in Meshoppen, she was a daughter of the late Henry Clay and Margaret
Mary McCann Murray. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Avoca. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Avoca American Legion Post 607,
the Bethel United Methodist Womens Society and the 8 and 40. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She also was a member of the Daughters of America, the Rebeccas, Moosic,
the Railroad Ladies Auxiliary and the Hoskins Sunday school class. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by her husband, James A., in 1961; son, James;
and brothers, Robert, Thomas and Charles. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Thompson, Avoca; two grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews
