 Billy's holds a bit of something for everyone &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Billy's Seafood Steakhouse Restaurant in Dunmore is a finely put together,
comfortable place. It's the kind of place that makes you feel right at home. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The service is very good. The staff will make you feel welcomed and even
teach you how to fold a napkin "just so." &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The decor has some very nice touches -- the pleasing wallpaper, the
woodwork on the booths. Overall, it's quite a well designed place. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The only thing I didn't like was the glass on top of the table cloth.
Plates slide and it just isn't a comfortable surface. I suppose it does save
on the cleaning bill. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The menu is comprehensive, with something for both the meat-and-potatoes
lover and the gourmet. There is a section of "Healthy Heart" entrees for the
health conscious. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Some items seemed a bit high, but generally the prices are reasonable. You
should figure on spending about $40 per couple. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The best way to try the appetizers is with the hot antipasto for two. This
collection of clams casino, large stuffed clams, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp
with marinara and large tender scallops is a very good way to start. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The regular shrimp cocktail comes with a very mild sauce but the shrimp
were good. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The soups were all very well made. A rich, chunky minestrone, a very fine
French onion and a delicious and interesting stracciatella -- egg drop -- are
all worth a try. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The spinach salad was tasty enough but the grit was rather annoying. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The entrees we tried were acceptable but frankly disappointing. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The veal Oscar was tender and had a delightfully crisp coating but the
sauce was bland. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Chicken strips in butter and garlic were a trifle overcooked but had plenty
of garlic. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lobster tail was big enough and as tender and tasty as a previously frozen
tail can be. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The big disappointment was a special New York strip steak with sautteed
Belgian peppers. The peppers were great. The steak was dry and most decidedly
not the rare that was ordered. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 I can definitely recommend the rice pudding at Billy's. It is among the
best I've had. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Other desserts were obviously not prepared there, though that certainly
isn't an indictment. The apple and coconut custard pies were both quite tasty. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 It was rather disconcerting to be told that there wasn't much available for
dessert because the delivery hadn't arrived. There wasn't even any ice cream!
