John Lake &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 1, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; John T. Lake, 79, of Rutter Avenue, Kingston, died Thursday in the Leader &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Nursing and Rehabilitation Center East, Second Avenue, Kingston, where he
resided the past 3 yearsBorn in Wilkes-Barre on Dec. 21, 1913, he was the son
of the late Isaac and Nellie Jones Lake. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was employed as a clerk for the Penn Central Railroad, Wilkes-Barre, for
35 years before retiring in 1972. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He attended the Forty Fort United Presbyterian Church. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Montgomery and Hannah Lake. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are his wife, the former Edna Major; sons, John J., Cleveland;
Donald W., Moosic; brother, Carlton J., Loveladies, N.J.; sister, Emily
Edwards, Kingston; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Hanover
Green Cemetery, Hanover Township, with the Rev. William Lukesh, pastor of the
Forty Fort United Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. David Mansfield, chaplain
of the Leader Nursing Home, officiating. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in the Hanover G
