Claire Walsh &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 15, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Claire C. Walsh, 85, formerly of Plains Township and Ashley, died Thursday
evening at Highland Manor Nursing Center, ExeterBorn in Plains Township, she
was a daughter of the late John J. and Margaret Ann Gillespie Walsh Sr. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School and College Misericordia,
Dallas. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was employed as a teacher in the Plains School District. After
retirement as a school teacher, she worked for the Department of Public
Welfare, retiring in 1974. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was a member of St. Leo's Church, Ashley. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 She was preceded in death by brothers, Peter, Michael, John, Thomas and
Hugh, and sisters, Jen, Mary, Margaret, Catherine and Mrs. Cecelia Shimshock. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a nephew, Matthew Shimshock, Plains, and niece, Barbara Peck,
Moosic. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be Saturday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30
a.m. in St. Le
