John Ftorkowski &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Dec. 14, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; John Ftorkowski, 89, of Main Road, Shickshinny Lake, died Wednesday at his
winter home in Hallandale, FlaBorn in Nanticoke, Sept. 7, 1905, he was a son
of the late Anthony and Stella Madajewski Ftorkowski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Mocanaqua. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was the founder and original owner of Suburban Oil Co., Wilkes-Barre and
Harveysville. He also was president and owner of Shickshinny Lake Development
Corporation. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of Wilkes-Barre Elks Club. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Leona Gajewski; brother,
Stanley; and sisters, Eleanor and Celia Ftorkowski and Lillian Verbinski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a son, John (Jerry), Shickshinny Lake, and granddaughter,
Nicole, Dallas. &amp;nb
