 Basketball &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Season tickets for boys and girls basketball will be on sale in the
athletic office of the John S. Fine Senior High School on today, Thursday and
Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Boys basketball season tickets will be $30,
and the girls tickets will be the same. A student pass is $20* * * &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 The Hanover Area Basketball Booster Club will have a meeting today at 7:30
p.m. at the Newtown Cafe. Anyone interested in coaching a biddy basketball
team is urged to attend. The biddy basketball league will be holding tryouts
for all new players on Saturday at the high school at 11:30 a.m. The draft
will follow the tryout. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 The Nanticoke Area Trojan and Trojanette Basketball Teams are conducting an
All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner on Dec. 11 at the St. Joseph's Bingo Hall on
Prospect Street in Nanticoke. The dinner will be served from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
and take-outs are available with containers provided. Tickets may be obtained
from any Boys' or Girls' team member or coach. The cost is $4.50 for adults
and $3 for children under 12. Children under 4 are free. For ticket or

 The Pocono Family YMCA is having registration for Youth Basketball on
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pocono YMCA. Children in grades 1
through 4 are eligible to register. Forms are available at the YMCA and will
come home with each child from school. Early registrations will not be
accepted. Late registrations will be accepted as there is room in the program.
Fee is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. The program begins Jan. 21 and

 The GAR Football Booster Club will meet today at 8 p.m. at the Eagles. All
parents of football players and cheerleaders and anyone interested are

 The monthly meeting of the Nanticoke Junior Trojans Football Association
will be held Thursday at the West Side Club beginning today at 7 p.m.
Nominations for officers for 1995 will be accepted at this meeting. All

 The Plains Yankee Dugout Club is now accepting written requests for
positions of head "A", "B", and "C" team cheerleader advisors, strutter
advisor and head coach for "A", "B", and "C" team football. All applicants
must be a member in good standing and all requests must be received by the
close of the Dec. 5 meeting. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 The regular monthly meeting of the Plains Yankee Dugout Club will be held
on Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Dominick's in Hudson. Banquet tickets will be on
sale from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and cost $10. No tickets will be issued to
anyone with outstanding equipment or uniforms. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

 There are still a few openings for the beginning referee course being
offered by the Northeast Pennsylvania Soccer Referees Association. The course
