Professionals know reasons why 911 should be the number of choice &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 From the fire chiefs' point of view it is definitely time for 911No matter
what argument you can think of, 911 is faster and universally known by young
and old. It will save lives! &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; To give a small example of how people do not know how to call for
emergencies in this Valley. I asked a local political figure to call his fire
company dispatching service immediately without looking it up. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He said "I can't." I rest my case. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Another example came several weeks ago when a resident of our coverage area
reported a fire. When we arrived on scene he told us that he could not find
our fire call number and did we have some kind of phone sticker for him; 911
would have ended that problem. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Any problems 911 might create in its infancy in Luzerne County can and will
be controlled. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Lives will be saved. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
