 Dec. 19, 1994 &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Edward Wineski, of Rutter Street, Buttonwood section of Hanover Township,
died &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Monday in the Hospice unit of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Center, Plains TownshipBorn in Hanover Township, he was the son of the late
Edward and Helen Wineski. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army, serving with the Fifth
Infantry Division. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was formerly employed by Conn's Construction Company, Luzerne. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 He was a member of Hanover Township VFW Post 5267 and AmVets Post 59,
Breslau section of Hanover Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie, Scranton; son, Michael, Hanover Township;
brother, Frank, Nanticoke; and sisters, Isabell Matarazzi, Hanover Township;
Shirley Koszar and Theresa Piokowski, both of Nanticoke. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday from Charles Sherbin Funeral
Home, 630 Main Road, Hanover Green. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Plymouth Township. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
